Rehearsal schedule

Monday June 29 and Thursday July 2nd

Monday, June 29th and Thursday, July 2nd is ideal but only one is mandatory. All songs performed will be from the June show. There is no cost for Glee June students.

4th of July Parade

Parade day

Drop off Location: Meet near the Bank of America and Free and Easy at the corner of Trabuco and El Toro. Free and Easy address is 22475 El Toro Rd Lake Forest, CA 92630. Please eat a big healthy breakfast!

Time: 9:30am meeting time. Parade starts at 10am.

What to bring
1. Small bag to carry your water bottle. Without a bag it will be hard for your student to keep track of their bottle with so many students.

2. Sunglasses - hope that Glee Team can wear their colored one's from music video.

Costume: Glee t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes. No flipfops. If you need another t-shirt we might have an extra for you. They are $13. Please contact us soon if you need one.

OC Fair Rehearsals

Free for Summer Camp students or $39

Monday July 13th and Monday July 20th

All current Glee students are invited to perform at the Orange County Fair on Thursday, July 23rd at 12:15pm. Call time 10:15am. Students are encouraged to attend both rehearsals, July 13th and 20th, but only one is mandatory. Songs performed will be from the June show and summer camp numbers from Pre-Glee and Glee Team. All participating students will receive a FREE ticket to the OC Fair. Monday rehearsals will be scheduled as follows:

Checklist for Rehearsal Today

Monday, June 8th - ALL Students at Glee

Parents can stay or drop off at Glee Music Academy:
25 Spectrum Pointe Drive, Suite 406, Lake Forest, CA 92630

All BUT Pre-Glee will sit outside. Students and parents.

Make sure to check in and get your name tag and then go outside and find a chair to sit and wait for the next choir call.

3:30-4:20 Pre-Glee
4:00-7:00 All students, Glee Club, Glee for All and Glee Team
4:00-8:00 Special Musical Numbers (for those that came to extra rehearsals)

What to bring and what to wear?

Monday, June 8th - ALL Students at Glee

1. No Costumes at ANY rehearsals 
2. Bring snacks to eat outside of Glee. 
3. Bring a water bottle to keep outside. Please put your name on it. 
4. Bring quiet entertainment. Technology is fine but realize that we will not have a safe place to keep them. We haven't had any problems in the past but we will not be watching the technology. 
5. If you have a question, Karen Lake will be out in the back where the students are waiting for their call.

Monday, June 15th - All Students at Orange Lutheran

Because the rehearsal and the show are different days,

3:30-4:20 Pre-Glee (all Pre-Glee parents are encouraged to stay for the hour)
3:45 For all class Presidents that can show up early to help with check-in
4:00-7:00 All students, Glee Club, Glee for All and Glee Team
4:00-8:00 Special Musical Numbers

Tuesday, June 16th - The Show

5:45 Class Presidents come to help set up check-in
6:00 Call Time for all students and chaperones
6:30 House opens
7:00 Show

Costumes

Boys! Wear only vest, shirt, pants. You need dress shoes. Do NOT wear tennis shoes. You also need BLACK socks. Please take a picture of your dress shoes and text or email Karstin@gleemusicacademy.com

Girls! If you are wearing the smaller of the two dresses you can probably still get it in time. Click here for details. Be sure to take measurements and call them.

What Color Tights?

Pre-Glee and Glee Club wear white tights. 

Glee for All and Glee Team wear black tights.

Dress Itchy?

If your daughter it concerned about her dress being itchy, you can wear a NUDE half-tee. See their website at http://www.halftee.com. They have adult and girl sizes. Most girls are worried about under their arms being itchy so bras don't do the trick. Please make sure that all bras are white or nude. No RAZOR BACKS or colored bras. This seems to be a concern with the younger girls.

We need Chaperones!

Become a chaperone! We'll even give you a free ticket for the show if you can help us at the show. If there are two of you, we might even be able to have you sit together if that is an issue. You can sit with us during the rehearsal and/or the show.

We Found Glee Jackets!

We had a hard time finding Glee Jackets for all sizes. Good news - we have the vendor that carries children and adult sizes. The jackets are about $55 but we are only asking that you pay $50. Please bring a check to the rehearsal and give to Karen or bring the check this week in an envelope to your next Glee class.

I will be sending another email tomorrow with the details on how to choose pink or black and what name you want on the front. Here are the names of those that will earn the privilege of buying a Glee jacket (formally called pink jackets).

Show Tickets

How to Choose Your Seat: The tickets are on sale and selling fast. It is hard to tell but you can you choose your own seat. When you are on the front page just randomly make a choice and then you can see the color coded text and picture and choose where you want to sit. Then once you know you can go back to the first page and make an intelligent discussion.

Mail Tickets: If you have them go through the mail check to be sure they will arrive in time. Small traditional tickets are great to use as well as print at home. There are NO Will Call tickets.
